Global Benchmarking Network (GBN)

Benchmarking, learning from the experience of others, is a powerful method for breakthrough thinking, innovation, improvement and for delivering exceptional bottom-line results. It is one of the most popular and effective tools used for organisational success. The Global Benchmarking Network (GBN) has played a key part in raising the awareness and use of benchmarking worldwide.
The network was founded in 1994 by representatives from benchmarking centres in Germany, Italy, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Member organisations have agreed to an affiliation known as the Global Benchmarking Network (GBN) in order to promote benchmarking as an improvement process on an international level. The GBN comprises benchmarking centres from countries all over the world.
