The following text informs you of the data we collect and the way we process the collected data. Google Analytics creates pseudonymised user profiles and uses cookies. The information generated in the process includes the URL of the visited website such as<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the Browser type and version<\/li>\n<li>the Operating system of your device<\/li>\n<li>the Referral URL (the website you visited prior to ours)<\/li>\n<li>the Host name of the requesting computer (IP address) and<\/li>\n<li>the time of the server request<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">will be transmitted to and stored on the server of the Google Inc. in the USA. Google complies with the Data Protection Regulations of \u2018US Privacy Shield\u2019 and is registered with the US Privacy Shield Program of the US Department of Trade. In addition, we entered into an\u00a0<a>order processing contract<\/a>\u00a0for the use of Google Analytics Services. By signing this contract, Google agrees to process the data in compliance with the data protection regulation and to protect the rights of the affected persons.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The collected data serve the following purposes: Usage evaluation of the platform services, website activity reporting and performance of further services in context with the website use, Internet use and the use of services for market research and to improve the design of the Fraunhofer Internet pages.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">If necessary or appropriate, the data may be transmitted\/transferred to third parties providing this is required by law or in case third parties are commissioned to process the data. Under no circumstances will Google commingle your IP address with other data processed by Google. The IP addresses are anonymised so that an association with your computer will be impossible (IP masking).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">You are able to change the browser settings to the effect that cookies will not be installed.
