GBN Survey "Business Improvement and Benchmarking"












In today’s world of fierce competition customers continually demand higher quality at lower prices and in shorter time. To meet this demand organisations have adopted different tools, techniques and strategies in order to improve their operational performance and strategic position.

The Global Benchmarking Network (GBN) - the leading benchmarking network representing over 20 countries - is conducting research to identify the current status of business improvement tool use worldwide. To establish a clear view of the use of business improvement tools we encourage you or a representative from your organisation to complete this survey. It will take between 10 to 45 minutes of your time dependent on your use of benchmarking.

3rd GBN Best Practice Conference - 9-10 October 2008, Budapest (Hungary)

First GBN Roadshow Event on Best Practices regarding How to Do Benchmarking Well


The GBN’s first International Road Show is being held in the beautiful Town Hall in Toronto, Canada on Wednesday 23rd and Thursday 24th April, 2008. The Conference is organised jointly by the Global Benchmarking Network (GBN), National Quality Institute (NQI) of Canada and Benchmarking Partnerships (Australia).

We are expecting between 100 and 200 delegates for you to network with. Also, Toronto Canada is a great place to visit in Spring and to take advantage of this the program has been designed to maximize your learning about Best Practice Benchmarking and also your experience of Toronto.

Our keynote speaker, Robert Herjavec, is not only a very successful entrepreneur, but is also a co-star in the hottest new business TV Show in Canada called “The Dragon’s Den”. 2nd Best Practice Benchmarking Conference
5th - 6th December, 2007, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Organisational survival demands extraordinary improvements in organisational performance. Organisations' need to exist in a highly, and increasingly, networked world. They face fast-paced technological, economic, regulatory, environmental, demographic, and cultural changes that daily influence their ability to remain relevant and viable.



















The Congress provided an opportunity for all business practitioners, professionals, and researchers to submit papers and share their experiences as up to 100 papers were presented. The best papers are currently being published in the International Journal for TQM and Business Excellence.

International Quality Forum “THE BEST PRACTICE FOR THE BEST LIFE”
8th – 10th November 2006, President Hotel, Moscow (Russia)

The Forum was organised by the Russian Benchmarking Club “Business Excellence” of the Russian Society for Quality and hosted the 15th Annual General Meeting of the GBN from the 7th - 8th November as well as the First International Benchmarking Conference on the 9th November.

3rd St. Galler Benchmarking Congress

2nd St. Galler Benchmarking Congress "Benchmarking in der Praxis",
19th October 2006, Airport Conference Center, Zurich, Switzerland
